Privacy Policy for Mind Mingle
Last updated: February 2025
Mind Mingle ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our app.
Information we collect
- Device-stored data: Progress data (scores, streaks, completed games) is stored on your device to provide daily puzzles and stats. We do not use this for advertising or selling.
- Automatically collected data: To improve stability and experience, we use Firebase (Google) for crash reporting and anonymized analytics. This may include device type, app version, and generic usage events (e.g., that a game was completed). We do not collect your name, email, or other personally identifiable information for these services.
Data storage and third parties
- Game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. The core game experience does not send this data to our servers.
- Crash reports and analytics are processed by Google (Firebase). Their use of data is governed by Google's privacy policy. We use this data only to fix bugs and understand aggregate usage.
Data retention
- Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
- Crash and analytics data is retained according to Firebase/Google policies (typically up to 90 days for crash data; analytics as configured).
Children
Our app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is stored on the device and the crash/analytics data described above.
Your rights
You can turn off analytics in your device settings (e.g., limit ad tracking / reset advertising identifier) to reduce linkage. Uninstalling the app removes local data and stops further collection.
Changes
We may update this policy. The in-app version is the current one. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
